Environmental Documents

The General Plan Update is considered a project under the California Environmental Quality Act.  As the environmental documents are prepared for the General Plan Update, they will be posted here.

Notice of Preparation
The Notice of Preparation identifies potential environmental impacts that will be addressed in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the General Plan Update.  Comments on the NOP will be accepted through July 20, 2011 and may be submitted in writing to Stephen Hackney, Director of Planning and Building, County of Colusa, Department of Planning and Building, 220 12th Street, Colusa, CA, 95932, or may be made orally at the public scoping meeting that will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 9:00 am at the Colusa County Board Chambers, 547 Market Street in Colusa. 

Draft Environmental Impact Report
The Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) identifies the environmental impacts that may result from implementaiton of the proposed 2030 Draft General Plan.

Final Environmental Impact Report
The Final Environmental Impact Report provides responses to comments received on the Draft EIR and identifies edits made to the Draft EIR.

Housing Element Update
Housing Element Update - Negative Declaration/Initial Study.  This document was circulated for public review through October 13, 2010.
